Nurturing Appreciation
I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, Philippians 3:10
In this portion of the study about what to think on as a Christian, Oswald Chambers says “These words never fail to awaken a thrill of emotion in the hearts of every Christian”. Then, he goes on to talk about this thrill being in the very existence we live each day. Never able to sit long, like a frog does until provoked. We should be listening to and working with the Holy Spirit , who is provoking us each time we are not doing the will of God.
No more sitting on a lilypad, basking in the glory of the amazing day we gave our hearts to Jesus, but out working with the Holy Spirit.
When people ask, where you have been? You should be able to answer, “Didn’t you know I must be about my Father’s business.”
