Let me tell you about my best friend

Have you ever had one of those relationships that just seem to dissolve over time? Like adding an Alka Seltzer to water. It started off with a sudden burst of energy, but after a while it stopped “fizzing”.

I have experienced these a few times in my life and I can say, I personally do not like it. My personality makes me internalize these situations and I assume it is something about me that caused it to fizzle out. ( Which is entirely possible)

I have to remember that God is in control. There is nothing under the sun that He did not do or allow to happen. I should be seeking His relationship for any fulfillment I am looking to gain.

Here is the great news in this, God’s relationship to us will never fizzle out. He loves us and is in love with us. This does not change.

So really, God, you are my best friend. Help me to remember that.
