Rejoice

This is the day that the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. – Psalm 118:24

Have you ever broken this piece of scripture down and really considered what it is saying? This day, right now, was made by God. This day and all the things in it were made or allowed by God. So, no matter what this day brings, WE His followers will rejoice and be glad.

As a servant of God, we should be thanking our Lord for all opportunities He opens up to us. Sometimes the correction of the Lord hurts and seems like He does not care, but the corrections are to help us to stay or return to the path He choses for us.

Rejoice and be glad, even when things do not seem to be going your way, because they are going the way the Lord intended.
