“God doesn’t love us because we’re worthy. We’re worthy because he loves us.”
As of late my household has been held hostage by the Covid-19 virus. I have found that I am a creature of habit. What I mean by this is I need a routine to follow. I need structured time for the important things.
So, when my circumstances change, I need to quickly find a new routine to fill it or my important items seem to run of the rails.
Physical work outs, time to stretch, time to relax, time to talk to friends, and most importantly time to pray, read and meditate.
The quote above was a good reminder that God’s love makes me worthy, not the things I do. So I want to state it differently .
I don’t do the things to make God love me. I do the things because He loves me.
I just need to get back to doing the things, because God never stopped loving me.

Thank you for the reminder.
