Hold me close

She was not allowed to work with the new borns, because of her handicap. She had lost the use of both of her arms and could not hold them. How she longed to have functioning arms again. She love holding babies and comforting them, but that was an impossibility at this point.

Or was it? Upon hearing the news of her passion for the young children a young man devised a plan to help the distraught care giver. Using a baby carrier he was able to put a baby against the lady’s chest. Though she couldn’t hold the baby she could still offer comfort to the little ones. He welcomed her to the baby room at the church.

Sometimes we need to think differently to help solve other people’s shortcomings. If people have a will, help them find the way.

Through God and the love of others all things are possible.
