Hiding light

It is amazing to me the visions and stories God shows and tells us through out the day in very simple and subtle ways.

I had a light bulb that was flickering in my bathroom so I removed the lightbulb and set it on my sink. I haven’t done anything with the light in a few days. This morning I went to brush my teeth and there was a ladybug hiding, barely in view, behind the light.

This reminded me that this is our calling in this life. We are to hide behind Christ, the light of the world, and be barely visible. As we lay down the things that would be us, the world will see more and more of Christ and less and less of us.

A friend once told me this saying, I decline so that He May gain.
