Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6
Circumstance does not dictate behavior, we dictate our own behavior. In this scripture from Paul we see he is trying to direct us to right thinking about our behavior in all circumstances.
Never say my circumstances dictated that I could not do this; or that you attained something in spite of your circumstances, we are only able to attain those things because of the circumstances, not the other way around.
Stop giving circumstances the blame for your bad behavior. Stop complaining about the catalysts that give the opportunity to better who you are.
Circumstances have no power, you have the power to overcome all things.
