What to think about

I am starting a new section in the complete works of Oswald Chambers today. The piercing truth within the first few paragraphs is letting me know this will be a great read.

As followers of Christ, we are to be ever seeking to renew our minds, not just in the time we moved to a relationship with God. It should be a yearning and longing to know more, but too often we see it as a burden or a delusion that creates legalism.

Without study and furthering our knowledge we run the risk of becoming fanatics or Christians who show signs of bigotry and narrow-mindedness.

Studying should be a thing we do as humans, not just Christians. Continually expanding our minds for the work He has for us.
