Be prepared

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15)

This scripture makes two assumptions about Christians. First, that have hope in us and secondly, that others can see the hope and are so moved to ask us about it.

So where is your hope and do you wear it on your sleeve for all to see?

Finally, if you have hope and are radiating it to others enough for them to ask about it, are you studied up enough about it to have a gentle and respectful conversation about it?
