An evil report he shall not fear;
his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.
His heart is steadfast; he shall not fear
till he looks down upon his foes.
The interesting part of this to me is, not fearing until looking down on your foes. Here is my take on it.
We are to fear only the Lord. When we place ourselves above others, we should experience the fear of the Lord. That is a place we are not meant to be.
