Here it is the first day of a new year. Another trip around the sun. Here is the funny thing about that it is just another day. The troubles of yesterday do not disappear and the stresses of tomorrow will soon be upon us.
But guess what, today is day 1. Not because it is 01/01/21. It is day one to do all the things you know you are supposed to do. Love others, show patience, be humble, confess your sins, show kindness, be gentle, tell the truth, forgive, and most importantly Love the Lord your God with all your mind, body and spirit.
Do all these things and you know what the best part is? You have another Day 1 tomorrow to do it all over again.
