Trust me

Trust is a very funny thing. We seem to expect others to blindly trust us and give none in return. Even if we do trust them do our actions and words say that we trust them?

It takes me to the story of Jesus walking on the water. This is the son of God, who else can we trust more than this? Peter starts his trust with His words by asking Jesus to tell him to come to Him.

Peter has 100% trust at that point in Christ, but then circumstance and fear came in. Peter began to sink in the water and his trust in Jesus was supplanted.

How often do we start off with the best intentions and trust in other only to say or do something in a moment of doubt that destroys it?

Are you trusting today? How about, are you trustworthy?
