Great time in the Garden

What a glorious morning to serve and honor the Lord.

This thought was very present in my mind today as I prayed with God. I talked a lot and He listened. I felt loved and moved in my heart to serve Him.

Then He spoke.

How will you serve and honor me today?

I realized He was asking me to drop the feelings and do. Don’t think for one second your feelings and emotions have anything to do with serving God. Just do what you know is right based on what He has and is teaching you.

Lay down your life today. Do not seek justice for yourself. Be a sacrifice for someone else.

This is what He needed me to understand and do today.
