During this time of year we travel to see family and friends to celebrate. My mind goes to the original Christmas family. A wife who is pregnant out of wedlock and a husband who who gave up His right to a first born. A holy pregnancy, as a virgin bears the son of God. A husband who is trying to get his family to a holy celebration with the rest of the Jewish nation. Arriving only to find no place to stay, except in the pin with the animals.
Making that long trip to visit family and friends doesn’t seem so bad now , does it?
