Given

Everything that the Father gives me will come to me,
and I will not reject anyone who comes to me,
because I came down from heaven not to do my own will
but the will of the one who sent me.

If we are to mimic the life of Jesus and this is His statement, shouldn’t we look at all things put in front of us everyday this way as well. Most importantly the people God “gives” us everyday. We should not reject one of them.

Why? Because the people we interact with today were given by God.

Nothing that happens in your life today is a surprise to God. God allows and guides all things that are in our lives. Shouldn’t we live that way? Or do we prefer to do our own will and despise those “given” by God? Speaking evil to and about them?

What is given today?
