The LORD keeps those who are constant,
but more than requites those who act proudly.

Reading this has intrigued my mind. Why are these two things in contrast? Those who act proud and those who are constant.
Constant. Scripture says we are to be in constant contact with The Lord, our God. So that would mean those who are not in this constant contact with Him would be living and doing things on their own accord. To put it bluntly, acting proudly.
