Overflow

I have encountered homeless people multiple times when I have gone camping, but recently I encountered a very giving couple. While we were sitting around a campfire , we saw a car come over to the couples camp spot and heard a lot of commotion. We decided to make sure everything was ok. Once we got there the homeless gentlemen informed us that the people who drove up were out of food and they gave them some of the food they had in reserve.

In life, we spend a lot of time worrying and troubled over the things that we need or think we need. What we see as not enough, is really more than enough in God’s eyes.

With the 5 loaves and 2 fish, Jesus fed 5000+ people with enough leftovers to feed a few families.

There is more in the overflow provided than the original offering.

Today I have all I need in abundance, even if the world would see it differently. I have all I need because all I really need is a relationship with Christ.
