Because of the perfect timing of Christmas and New Years, I decided to spend 6 days of PTO in return for 16 days in a row off. In the economy of PTO, I did fairly well.
I made plans to “do this”, and “do that”, but God had different plans. He said you need rest and time to connect with me. As of Christmas Day, I started to feel sick. Today, my chest is tight, my throat is sore and my nose is running.
I hear you Lord. Rest it is. Reading scripture, prayers and reflection on its way. I will probably still be able to get the things done I was looking to accomplish, just a little slower.
Feel better man!

He maketh me lie down.
Rest in Him my brother.
