“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’
will enter the Kingdom of heaven,
but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.”
Just because you call on the name of God does not mean you will enter the kingdom of heaven. Faith requires action. As Jesus brother James said, “I will show you my faith by what I do.”
I have faith that when I flip the switch in my house that my lights will come on and by actually flipping the switch I show it to be true.
I am not talking works to save you, I am talking about building your house on a strong foundation and following the will of God. What does it profit others if do not follow Gods will in my life and do everything for self?
Our purpose in life, has been, and always will be to love God and love others. Doing things for selfish reasons is not loving God or others. That is the will of God!
Stop being selfish, and give love in place of hate. When others offend, you show mercy. When times are hard, praise God.
