Is a servant greater than his/her lord?

“When you have done all you have been commanded, say,
‘We are unprofitable servants;
we have done what we were obliged to do.'”

Does this verse trouble your heart or mind? This is part of the relationship we have with God. Scripture says to make Him or Lord and savior, not just savior.

Lord, making us willing servants or slaves. If we as servents do what we are asked to do, then we have done what we were obliged to do. Our Lord is still the only one deserving of praise.

Don’t let this verse trouble you, it is just a reminder that He is Lord and we are His willing servants. If you are not a willing slave to God, well you have bigger troubles than this verse.
