Free, not free

We are not fundamentally free; external circumstances are not in our hands, they are in God’s hands, the one thing in which we are free is in our personal relationship to God. We are not responsible for the circumstances we are in, but we are responsible for the way we allow those circumstances to affect us; we can either allow them to get on top of us, or we can allow them to transform us into what God wants us to be. – Oswald Chambers

Free to have a personal relationship with God, but a slave to His will and circumstances. I AM, I accept. I want to be slave to your will and considered a son. I want to lay down this old shabby, sinful person and be the new man you created me to be. I want to live for you and others and deny the one who lead me astray for so long, myself….

Satan only has the power to tempt us away, we have to decide to live in the sin and walk away from relationship with God.

So, today I will serve the Lord by choice of a relationship with Him. Tomorrow I will work out tomorrow’s declaration.
