Dark days

Yes, days are coming, says the Lord GOD,
when I will send famine upon the land:
Not a famine of bread, or thirst for water,
but for hearing the word of the LORD.
Then shall they wander from sea to sea
and rove from the north to the east
In search of the word of the LORD,
but they shall not find it.

Amos 8:11-12

The sadness and angst this produces in me is extreme. To imagine a world without the word of God. makes me realize I should cherish this gift way more than I do. I should have the word in mind, in my heart and always on my lips. How do I accomplish this thing? Where is my good teacher? Whose disciple am I?

All these are from the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Listen to them and be a good disciple of the things you learn.
