Suffering

It is better to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

This does not say we must suffer in doing good, or that the Lord requires us to suffer, yet some people put themselves in that place for no apparent reason.

God loves us, He does not want to see us suffer. Who as a parent wants their children to go through suffering?
