As I reflect on the times that I do not listening to the Spirit, I realize how empty I am in those times. During those times we tend to fill the void with other things so that we do not notice how empty we are.
The be filled and emptiness can be equated to light and dark. The emptiness is like darkness, the complete absence of any light. There is nothingness in darkness. Add of spark of the Spirit and everything is illuminated.
