Hearing death

Never see or taste death.

Pondering some scripture this morning that had these concepts/ideas. To see or to taste are very physical items. These actions make things become part of you in a sense. The eyes form images/memories in your mind and tasting is consuming into you body.

What about hearing death? Here is what I mean. Sin/disobedience is the path to death. If I listen for the signs sins in self and others I can help guide away from the path that leads to death.
